I am currently the Secretary Treasurer and Chair of the Membership Committee. I have led multiple initiatives within CCAS in the past few years, including writing questions, updating the website, creation of the CCAS Special Interest Group, and many others. The more recent effort resulted in recognition of the pediatric cardiac anesthesia specialty by the ACGME. I have been the CCAS representative on the SPA GME task force aiming to evaluate the current status of the pediatric cardiac anesthesia fellowships across the US and currently co-chair the PALC/CCAS task force evaluating the pediatric cardiac anesthesia specialty in the US.

I am one of the founding members of the CCAS beginning with the initial discussions taking place at the PCIS meeting in Miami, FL in 2007. Since its inception, I have served as Chair of the Database Committee and have served 2 terms on the Board of Directors. For the last two years I was the “shadow” co-Chair of the Annual Meeting Planning Committee and then the co-Chair and I am the Chair of this year’s upcoming Annual Meeting in Austin, TX in March 2023. At various times I have also been active in the Education and Quality Committees and I have represented the CCAS at various multi-disciplinary forums related to my database work.

- 30-minute talk focused on classification of Pulmonary Hypertension as well as risk stratification of children with Pulmonary Hypertension and intraoperative management goals.
