The overarching goals of the CCAS Trainee SIG group are (1) provide a forum to interact and network with other trainees and CCAS leadership and other members of the Society, (2) provide education on pediatric cardiac anesthesiology, research opportunities and career development, (3) assist residents as they transition to fellowship training and as fellows advance to become junior faculty, and (4) seek and provide feedback to the CCAS board about potential education gaps or needs of trainees.
