The Congenital Cardiac Anesthesia Society (CCAS) is proud to announce and request nominations for the CCAS Lifetime Achievement Award. The award selection committee will be chaired by Dr. Dean Andropoulos, the 2024 CCAS Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.
The CCAS Lifetime Achievement Award is designed to acknowledge a lifetime contribution to the society’s mission to ‘improve the perioperative care and outcomes, and facilitate technological advances in therapy for newborns, infants, and children with cardiovascular disease, congenital or acquired, and adults with congenital heart disease requiring anesthetic care’.
Eligibility criteria:
• More than 20 years of practice in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia
• Public contributions to improve perioperative care and outcomes of children with cardiovascular disease and adults with congenital heart disease
• Significant contribution to the CCAS and the membership (current CCAS membership is NOT required)
