The Education Committee is responsible for organizing and promoting the educational mission of CCAS. This committee is directly involved in overseeing and coordinating the education themes and initiatives of the Annual Meeting Program, initiatives of the Communications Committee and other didactic activities to ensure their alignment with the overall educational mission of the Society. This committee reports to the CCAS Board of Directors
The CCAS Annual Meeting Program Committee plans the educational content of the annual meeting. The committee actively reviews all feedback of previous meetings and seeks out suggestions for future meetings. The committee continually develops new content and teaching methods to meet the audience needs. For example the introduction of workshops, audience response systems, meet the expert round table discussions and professor poster rounds have all been implemented over the past meetings.
